Now who doesn’t remember Max and the Wild Things from Maurice Sendak’s Where the Wild Things Are? Well yep, the creative folk in Hollywood are making the story into a feature film directed by Spike Jonze (Being John Malkovich, Adaptation, Jackass, Flashing Lights) and produced by Tom Hanks (Band of Brothers, My Big Fat Greek Wedding). The film drops October 16. Instant Classic? I think so.
