Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite

July 30th, 2010. Posted by: 2wentyWon

The Air Force 1 has been one of Nike’s most recognized and classic shoes ever since it was first released back in 1982. Other than the thousands of different colorways, not much has changed from its inaugural design. Now, Nike has flipped all that and thrown this kick straight into the future. Drawing from the original Foamposite design, the Air Force 1 Foamposite features a sculted silver foamposite upper, black midsole, and an ice-blue midsole. Step on the court with these bad boys and you’ll definitely get a whistle for interference.

Livestrong x Nike Sportwear 2010 Collection

July 25th, 2010. Posted by: 2wentyWon

Living in the hometown of Lance Armstrong, the founder of the Lance Armstrong Foundation (Livestrong), I always take notice when I see anything related to him or Livestrong, especially when it’s a collaboration with Nike. Nike and Livestrong have created some dope products in past collaboration projects, that is why it is no surprise to see the buzz around this year’s collection. This year’s lineup includes the ‘Tour de France’ Dunk High Premium, Blazer Mid Supreme, and a small collection of apparell. Hit the jump to more pics of this years collab.

Nike Blazer Hi -“Jackie Robinson”

April 16th, 2009. Posted by: 2wentyWon

Paying homage to baseball icon Jackie Robinson, Nike works up a new pack of Blazer Hi’s featuring the colors that have become synonymous with the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers since their inception into the National League in 1890. Most widely recognized for his roles as a superstar player as well as breaking the color barrier within Major League Baseball, Jackie remains a cultural legend within the world of sports and civil rights alike. This new collection, in his honor, boasts the trademark Brooklyn logo on each tongue as well the traditional Brooklyn “B” emblazoned in an all-over Diamond print format. All three colorways, including a red canvas, royal nubuck, and grey suede, are now available at select Nike retailers includingProper.

Get Fresh! NikeiD Edition

March 3rd, 2009. Posted by: KingNation

Air MaxAm I showing my age? Perhaps. But you GFK – in – Trainings should have a history lesson every now and then. Way back in time,  NikeiD used to be the “spot”,  wherein creative juices flowed by creating and designing my own kicks. Fast forward to 2009, and the thrill is still there, so to speak. Naysayers point out that its essentially color coordinating and nothing more. To them I have some advice a la Jim Calhoun: Shut Up.  Let the fashion designer inside of you out, without looking like one of Kanye’s cohorts…

…and see if you can come up with your very own Get Fresh Kicks. My own personal designs after the jump.

A Nike’s Valentine’s Day

February 13th, 2009. Posted by: 2wentyWon

Tugging at the right girl’s heart-strings, Nike have decided to flip the scrip on past Valentine’s Day  drops, with a love/hate inspired theme. With a repeat pattern of hearts and skulls on the upper, set off by classy gold accents, the Air Force II and Blazer Low have every lady dipped. The combination is regal enough for the high-end loving ladies yet tough enough for those Freakette’s that like to keep it street.
