Kid Cudi rocks the Bape store in NYC, and gives a little sneak preview of one of his new joints. Right after his surprise performance the 24-year old Cudi was arrested (Friday June 11) for allegedly smashing a womans cell phone and ripping her car door off the hinges, Yeah Right! He was charged with felony criminal mischief. Not to mention the officer who arrested Cudi (Sgt. John Butorn) found a small bottle of an unidentified substance and he was also charged with possession of a so called “controlled” substance.

Snoop Dogg – “That Tree” feat. KiD CuDi

April 14th, 2010. Posted by: 2wentyWon

Everyone knows what Snoop and CuDi’s favorite past time is. So what other topic would a collab between these two be on? Wrong! “That Tree”  is a funky Diplo produced record all about family and the people closest to them. This record was released on Snoop’s extended Malice in Wonderland album, More Malice.  Peep the video; it’s definitely fresh and original.

Kid Cudi – Man on the Moon: The End of Day

September 14th, 2009. Posted by: 2wentyWon

The long awaited debut album from Freshman, Kid Cudi, is finally here. I honestly did not expect too much from Kid Cudi after hearing “Day ‘n’ Nite” early last year. But that all changed when he dropped “Make Her Say” with Common and the now fairly despised Kanye. Cudi is proving that he has what it takes to be a commercially successful artist while still delivering great lyrical content. Man on the Moon is an amazing laid back sonic journey narrated by Common featuring the sounds of alternative hip-hop, electronica, and even trip-hop. This space trip features production by Emile, Kanye, and electronic music duo Ratatat. Definitely one of the best albums of the year.

Notable Tracks: “Solo Dolo”, “Heart of a Lion”, “Hyyerr”.

“If you can’t do what you imagine, then what is imagination to you?”
