Laws – 5:01 Overtime

501-FRONT-COVER

Brazilian-born, Florida-based spitter Laws showed everyone what time it was last February with his mixtape 4:57 PM, which featured the Internet smash “Hold You Down.” This time he’s getting at everyone who hit the snooze button the first time with 5:01 Overtime. The new mixtape is essentially a tagless re-release of his previous mixtape, but now features four new tracks including the remix to “Hold You Down,” which boasts guest appearances from Big K.R.I.T., Emilio Rojas. There’s also guest spots from Jay Rock, Jason Caesar, and Funkghost, and production by 9th Wonder, DJ Khalil, and J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League. Laws claimed he titled the mixtape 5:01 because he no longer has to work a 9-5 now that he’s pursuing music full-time. Let’s hope he sticks to his new day job.

Free Mason – Rick Ross feat. Jay-Z & John Legend

July 11th, 2010. Posted by: Tuk

TEFLONDONAlright Rick Ross you’ve earned it with this one. The buzz from the album Teflon Don has been building for some time, but in my opinion, Free Mason feat. Jay-Z & John Legend will be the track that really puts all the listeners into anticipation mode. Marked as the second official leak from the album, Free Mason is flat out DOPE! One of the best songs from Rick Ross in a long time.

Deeper Than Rap

May 3rd, 2009. Posted by: 2wentyWon

Rick Ross’ Deeper Than Rap has been out for a few weeks but I’m just now pickin’ it up. And I must say, it is DOPE! the album contains sick production by J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Tricky Stewart, DJ Toomp, and others. This is Rick Ross’ third major label album and I feel like he is finally rapping. Yea, he;s still on that mafioso tip, but it’s done in a more stylistically and intelligent manner.

Notable Tracks:

Mayback Music Part 2 feat. T- Pain, Kanye West, & Lil Wayne

Yacht Club feat. Magazeen
