So, I have been an M.I.A fan since I heard “Galang” off her Arular back in ‘04. She is definitely unlike any other artist/producer I’ve heard.

M.I.A is currently getting ready to drop her third studio album, Maya, which will features production from Diplo, Switch, Derek E. Miller of Sleigh Bells, M.I.A. herself, and others. We all took notice when she released her controversial music video for “Born Free“. Now she’s teamed up with Nicki Minaj to drop an attention grabbing remix of “Teqkilla”. Check it out.

Everyone knows what Snoop and CuDi’s favorite past time is. So what other topic would a collab between these two be on? Wrong! “That Tree”  is a funky Diplo produced record all about family and the people closest to them. This record was released on Snoop’s extended Malice in Wonderland album, More Malice.  Peep the video; it’s definitely fresh and original.
