So, I was definitely one of the skeptics when it came to Weezy’s rock album, Rebirth. But from the tracks that I’ve heard so far (sans “Prom Queen”), I’ve been fairly impressed.
Check out “Drop the World” featuring the almighty Marshall Mathers produced by Boi-1da (”Forever”, “Best I Ever Had”, “Replacement Girl”)

Japanese – Italian label giuliano Fujiwara has just opened their third flagship store in the Bellavita mall in Taipei. The shop features a very simplistic rack structure while drawing in deep-pocketed fashion freaks with edgy architecture and a lounge like atmosphere. Hit the jump for more pics.
So Kevin Cossom has one new fan and hopefully with this post I can gain him a few more. Hailing from Orlando, Florida, Cossom recently dropped his fire debut single, “Relax” feat. Snoop Dogg. Once I heard this track, I was doing the jump shimmy and I immediately had to hear more. Enter Cossom’s Hook vs. Bridge EP. Taking sonic cues from The-Dream and Pleasure P, this free album has been steadily gaining play counts in my iTunes. It features stellar production from Danja, The Runners, and The Inkredibles plus some sick 16s from Plies, Joe Budden, Pusha T, Rick Ross, and Snoop Dogg. This young man is sure to top the charts soon.
Surface to Air is a creative company known for its ongoing projects with contemporary art, music, fashion and photography, think back to its capsule collection with Justice and Sølve Sundsbø. The brand now announces a limited collection of twelve new iconic pieces in conjunction with Kings of Leon.
The long awaited debut album from Freshman, Kid Cudi, is finally here. I honestly did not expect too much from Kid Cudi after hearing “Day ‘n’ Nite” early last year. But that all changed when he dropped “Make Her Say” with Common and the now fairly despised Kanye. Cudi is proving that he has what it takes to be a commercially successful artist while still delivering great lyrical content. Man on the Moon is an amazing laid back sonic journey narrated by Common featuring the sounds of alternative hip-hop, electronica, and even trip-hop. This space trip features production by Emile, Kanye, and electronic music duo Ratatat. Definitely one of the best albums of the year.
Notable Tracks: “Solo Dolo”, “Heart of a Lion”, “Hyyerr”.
