If you’re in Austin tonight you don’t want to miss the Return of New Classic Wednesday’s! The event has been on hiatus for the past month or so but now it’s back and bigger than ever. Hosted by Drastik and DJ DC of Home Team Records, New Classics is a laid back environment where everyone that enjoys GOOD Hip-Hop can come chill. Every week there is something new at New Classics. There could be LIVE performances one week, a special guest DJ the next. With $2 drinks going all night long and GOOD music jamming in your ear, this is definitely the spot to be on Wednesday nights in central Texas. It goes down weekly at Mi Casa (downtown at the corner of 6th & Neches), with doors opening at 11pm.

Dallas’ finest, Tum-Tum/Tumzilla/Zillaman or whatever you want to call him is holding the Triple-D down. Zilla recently dropped his latest, apparently Nirvana inspired tape, Purp Kobain. Featuring production from Cardo, Play-N-Skillz, and HeatRok among others, this a must have. Seeming to have found a deeper love for Ganja, this is definitely the most laid back, non-aggressive project I’ve heard from Zilla.
