Matt Lauer and the Today Show crew invite Kanye on in response to the much-talked-about Lauer interview with George Bush where he referred to Kanye’s Hurricane Katrina rant (in which he infamously said “George Bush doesn’t care about Black people”) the “worst moment” of his presidency. A lot of people have said that ‘Ye totally overreacted during the interview and especially in his Twitter diatribe. Personally, I can definitely see where homie is coming from as Lauer and the show’s producers resort to typical media-framing tactics to paint the dude as some sort of villain (at about the 2:40 mark), while Mr. West had already emotionally apologized for his 2005 rant prior to and during the interview. Either way, it was a supremely awkward moment. Then, Kanye continues to take issue with a few other decisions by Lauer and producers during the interview. Watch the video and judge for yourself.
