In addition to the work I do with 2wentyWon, ThaBlackZackMorris and Tuk for GetFreshKid, I also host The Marcus and Tayo Show, Austin’s radio home for fresh, REAL Hip Hop on KVRX Austin 91.7 FM. This Saturday is our first show at our new time from 11 PM – 1 AM Central, every Saturday night. In honor of the occasion, we’ll be having Killa Kyleon, Drastik, and Hollywood FLOSS as guests on the show a week ahead of their concert with Dom Kennedy in Austin on Sept. 3rd. In addition, we’ll have appearances from Austin MCs KoolQuise and Kulcha Yclypse, not to mention the best and freshest hip hop in the country spinning on the airwaves. If that’s not enough, Tayo and I will be hosting this week’s edition of KVRX’s Artist Hour program from 10 – 11 PM this Saturday night profiling the homie Dom Kennedy with DJ DC spinning an hour of the Leimert Park MC’s best tracks.
