So, I have been an M.I.A fan since I heard “Galang” off her Arular back in ’04. She is definitely unlike any other artist/producer I’ve heard.
M.I.A is currently getting ready to drop her third studio album, Maya, which will features production from Diplo, Switch, Derek E. Miller of Sleigh Bells, M.I.A. herself, and others. We all took notice when she released her controversial music video for “Born Free“. Now she’s teamed up with Nicki Minaj to drop an attention grabbing remix of “Teqkilla”. Check it out.
