If you grew up in the late 80’s and early 90’s there is no way you will ever forget the iconic shoe brands British Knights and LA Gear. By the mid 90’s both of these shoe companies had nearly fallen off the map with LA Gear even filing for Chapter 11 in 1998. In 2008, these “80’s baby” favorites started their comeback with BK re-releasing the Leader, Ultra, and Kings SL designs and LA Gear re-releasing the majority of their Unstoppable line.

Now my favorite pair of sneaks when I was a rambunctious little kid at Brandenburg Elementary School were my LA Lights. They definitely caught the attention of the girls playing Patty-Cake at recess.
