Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite

July 30th, 2010. Posted by: 2wentyWon

The Air Force 1 has been one of Nike’s most recognized and classic shoes ever since it was first released back in 1982. Other than the thousands of different colorways, not much has changed from its inaugural design. Now, Nike has flipped all that and thrown this kick straight into the future. Drawing from the original Foamposite design, the Air Force 1 Foamposite features a sculted silver foamposite upper, black midsole, and an ice-blue midsole. Step on the court with these bad boys and you’ll definitely get a whistle for interference.

Big Hud – “Summertime Ish” feat. Curren$y

July 29th, 2010. Posted by: 2wentyWon

Although I was born and raised in Dirty Dirty Dallas, Texas, I have recently found myself turning a deaf ear to the music my hometown puts out. If I’m not throwing together a playlist for a party, rarely will you see me listening to Dorrough, Party Boyz, Treal Lee, and all the D-Town artists who put out dance songs.

Today I head something a little different come out of the Big D: “Summertime Ish”. This joint is jamming. It’s cats like Big Hud and Tum Tum who should be putting Dallas on for good music.

Snake Game Comes to YouTube

July 26th, 2010. Posted by: 2wentyWon

As if watching wasn’t already a good way to procrastinate, now you can play Snake right inside many of YouTube’s videos.

On videos with the new playback style (the one with the thick red progress bar that narrows when you move the mouse away from it), click on the video window, then hold ‘left’ on your keyboard. The video can be paused or playing when you do this.

To try it yourself, I recommend the YouTube video of a plain black screen, which should become pretty popular with this discovery.

YouTube Snake is worth keeping in mind next time you’re watching something that drags on, but isn’t quite boring enough to stop watching entirely.

Wale – “Friends and Strangers” (Preview)

July 26th, 2010. Posted by: LetMeCallMarcus

“They don’t see my vision, grown man mission”

DMV MC Wale is scheduled to make his re-entrance into the mixtape game on August 3rd with More About Nothing, a sequel of sorts to his 2008 critically-acclaimed, Seinfeld-themed project The Mixtape About Nothing. Today, courtesy of Rap Radar, Mr. Folarin and DJ Omega introduce us to a track titled “Friends and Strangers” from the upcoming tape. We only get a verse but that should be enough to pique the interest of those who are already looking out for more from the Capitol City spitter. The sample, a personal favorite of mine, is from jazz saxophonist Ronnie Laws’ 1977 track of the same name.

XV Officially Signs With Warner Bros. Records

July 26th, 2010. Posted by: LetMeCallMarcus

Wichita, Kansas spitter XV has officially signed a deal with Warner Bros. Much-deserved props to Vizzy on the signing. I’ve personally seen dude perform in Austin twice and he’s definitely got the complete package as an entertainer. If you don’t know about him, you soon will. In the meantime, cop the mixtape Everybody’s Nobody that put him on hip-hop’s radar and check out his video for “Fall Out The Sky” from said tape.

Livestrong x Nike Sportwear 2010 Collection

July 25th, 2010. Posted by: 2wentyWon

Living in the hometown of Lance Armstrong, the founder of the Lance Armstrong Foundation (Livestrong), I always take notice when I see anything related to him or Livestrong, especially when it’s a collaboration with Nike. Nike and Livestrong have created some dope products in past collaboration projects, that is why it is no surprise to see the buzz around this year’s collection. This year’s lineup includes the ‘Tour de France’ Dunk High Premium, Blazer Mid Supreme, and a small collection of apparell. Hit the jump to more pics of this years collab.
